Privacy Policy

At Order Samurai, privacy is not a feature — it is a core architectural invariant. Order Samurai is engineered to govern coding-agent fleets entirely on your local machine with zero cloud telemetry.

1. Zero Cloud Telemetry Architecture (By Default)

Order Samurai performs local analysis by default and sends no telemetry to Order Samurai. Optional third-party AI review runs only when you explicitly enable a provider using your own credentials; data sent to that provider is governed by the provider's terms — see Section 1a below.

• On-Device Storage: All telemetry, metric snapshots, agent session logs, secret scrubbing events, and Dojo state files are stored locally in your filesystem (~/.samurai/).
• No Remote Event Tracking: Order Samurai does not ping remote tracking endpoints, Google Analytics, or external telemetry servers.
• No Code or Prompt Harvesting By Us: Your source code, subagent prompts, internal documentation, and LLM conversations are not uploaded to any Order Samurai server.

Note: Order Samurai Pro's one-time purchase and license-key issuance does require a brief online step through our payment processor — see Section 2 below. This is separate from the day-to-day local-only analysis described above.

1a. Optional Third-Party AI Review

If you explicitly enable an optional third-party AI review provider and supply your own API credentials, the content you send for review is transmitted to that provider and governed by that provider's privacy policy and terms — not this one. This feature is off unless you turn it on.

2. Information Handled During Commercial Checkout (Pro Tier)

When purchasing Order Samurai Pro ($199 Lifetime License), checkout is processed by Gumroad, our Merchant of Record. Gumroad handles all payment collection, tax, and receipt issuance:

• Payment Data: Payment processing is handled securely by standard PCI-compliant processors. Order Samurai maintainers never store or transmit raw credit card details.
• Customer Email & License Key: The payment processor collects your email address to issue your digital receipt and Pro license key.
• Offline License Key Verification: License validation checks run locally using cryptographic public key signatures.
• Backup Processor: Lemon Squeezy may be used as an alternate checkout processor if Gumroad is unavailable; the same data-handling terms apply.

3. Local Data Rights & Control

Because everything lives under ~/.samurai/, you are always in control of your data. To fully purge local state, follow these steps in order:

1. Back up your license first. If you're a Pro user, purging this directory deletes your paid license file. Save a copy before proceeding:
   cp ~/.samurai/license.json ~/license-backup.json
2. Review what will be removed. List the contents so you know exactly what's there before deleting anything:
   ls ~/.samurai
3. Remove the directory. This is irreversible — there is no undo and no cloud copy to restore from:
   rm -rf ~/.samurai/

This purges all local state, logs, and metric history from your machine. If you skipped step 1 and had an active Pro license, contact support@agentica.biz to reissue your license key.
